I am a liberal because I believe in individual freedom but understand with that comes responsibility. I am very proud of our Party's policies including our opposition to the war in Iraq, ID Cards and student tuition fees but also our promotion of policies that ensure we all live in dignity such as free personal care for the elderly. I believe wholeheartedly in our Party's core values of liberty, equality and community.

I want to be Member of Parliament for Hereford and South Herefordshire because I want to make a difference to people's lives. I am driven by wanting to ensure that every person has aspirations and the opportunity to fulfil them.

I want to build on Paul's work over the last ten years. I want to ensure that the people of Herefordshire continue to be represented by hardworking Liberal Democrats at all levels of government committed to delivering a great service to their constituents and taking the lead on important local issues.

Herefordshire is a beautiful county. I want to be a strong voice for Herefordshire - a hard-working accessible local Member of Parliament.
